Font Color - Black (222) to Gray (999) Color Palette

My personal preference is not to use pure black; the contrast becomes tiring after a while. So around 80% grey works in most cases. The color would depend on the weight of the typeface. If you are using Arial or Verdana, you could go lighter, towards #555555. But if you have a lighter font weight (Calibri Light, or many Google fonts that have lighter weights) then probably don't go lighter than #333333.
